Organizational and Business Storytelling In The News: Story #119
April 14, 2004
Steve Denning gives a talk on organizational storytelling

For a change of pace today, I thought I would flag a radio talk that I gave today organizational storytelling.

It was on BTI Radio and entitled "Storytelling and why it's important to the Organization - Guest: Steve Denning, Author and formerly with the World Bank.

In the talk, I discuss:

- how I became involved in organizational storytelling;
- its impact at the World Bank.
- the different narrative patterns that are useful in organizations;
- the role of narrative in leadership.

To listen, you go to: http://www.btiradio.com/ and click on Archives, and then click on "4/14/04 Steve Denning". (There's a rather annoying 5 minutes of "Business Wires News" at the start, and then you get to the actual interview.)
